LED Lighting: An LED lamp is a light-emitting diode (LED) product which is assembled into a lamp (or light bulb) for use in lighting fixtures. LED lamps have a lifespan and electrical efficiency which are several times longer than incandescent lamps, and significantly more efficient than most fluorescent lamps.

Like incandescent lamps and unlike most fluorescent lamps (e.g. tubes and compact fluorescent lamps or CFLs), LEDs come to full brightness without need for a warm-up time; the life of fluorescent lighting is also reduced by frequent switching on and off. The initial cost of LED is usually higher. Degradation of LED dye and packaging materials reduces light output to some extent over time.

Some LED lamps are made to be a directly compatible drop-in replacement for incandescent or fluorescent lamps. An LED lamp packaging may show the lumen output, power consumption in watts, color temperature in kelvins or description (e.g. "warm white"), operating temperature range, and sometimes the equivalent wattage of an incandescent lamp of similar luminous output.

Most LEDs do not emit light in all directions, and their directional characteristics affect the design of lamps, although omnidirectional lamps which radiate light over a 360° angle are becoming more common. The light output of single LED is less than that of incandescent and compact fluorescent lamps; in most applications multiple LEDs are used to form a lamp, although high-power versions are becoming available.

Stengel Lighting

Stengel was founded in 1986 and is mainly occupied with the design and sales of energy saving vehicle lights. 25 years experience in light technology have left a considerable impression.

In 1986 they started with lights for the solar industry and in 1988 they presented the RESOLUX series and by using energy saving compact lamps they created the foundation for their success. One year later they added electronic inverter ballast for compact lamps, 230V AC/DC to their product range.

All lights in their program are state of the art and revised regularly. This way they can offer perfect design, high-tech electronics and the latest lamp technology.

And naturally MADE IN GERMANY!

Stengel Resolux LED Lights

Stengel Resolux 104 Series LED

The RESOLUX 104 is a brand new designed surface mount LED luminaire from Stengel.

Ideal for interior Caravan, Motorhome, RV, Marine, or House applications.

They are a Multi voltage input light, meaning they will take any input voltage between 10v and 30v while still maintaining a continuous light output all over the voltage range and is comparable with a 60 Watt incandescent lamp.

The Light comes with 6.3mm spade connectors for the electrical connection and on / off switch. The LED's have a luminous efficiency of 65lm/W and a durability of 10.000 - 50.000h. The LED's are available in the colour temperature 6000K (daylight white). The LED's are protected against outside influences as dust, dirt, moisture and mechanical load.

Stengel Resolux 105 Series LED

The RESOLUX 105 is a brand new designed surface mount LED luminaire from Stengel.

Ideal for interior Caravan, Motorhome, RV, Marine, or House applications.

The luminaire is available for both 12 volt or 24 volt DC. The light output is continuous all over the voltage range and comparable with an 40 Watt incandescent lamp.

The luminaire comes with 6.3mm spade connectors for the electrical connection and you can choose between a switch or no switch. The LED's have a luminous efficiency of 65lm/W and a durability of 10.000 - 50.000h. The LED's are available in the colour temperature 4000K (white) and 6000K (daylight white). The LED's are protected against outside influences as dust, dirt, moisture and mechanical load.

Stengel Resolux 106 Series LED Lighting

The RESOLUX 106 is a brand new designed surface mount LED luminaire from Stengel.

Ideal for interior Caravan, Motorhome, RV, Marine, or House applications.

Stengel Resolux 131 Series LED Lighting

RESOLUX 131 is a very bright, energy saving recessed LED spotlight with 12LEDs.

The 12 Volt DC spotlight with a current draw of 200 mA (2.4Watt) has an illumination of 130 Lux within 1m distance, the equivalent of a 20 Watt halogen spotlight.

The lens optics provide an evenly illuminated surface area at an angle of 40°. This spotlight will be available in chrome matt, white and grey, the protection class is IP65. It will be fixed by snap-in hooks, which are integrated in the housing made of Polycarbonate. For measurements please see our drawing. A cut-out of 58 mmdiameter is necessary.

It is suitable for high switching frequency rates, wherever medium quantity of light with very low energy consumption is needed.

The durability of the LEDs within the indicated operating temperature below 55°C is approx. 30.000 hours.

Exceeding the recommended operating temperature reduces the durability of the LEDs.

RESOLUX 131 is a very bright, energy saving surface-mounted LED spotlight with 12 LEDs.

LED Floodlights

These high power LED floodlights are ideal for domestic and commercial lighting applications. They offer superb light output with the very low power consumption and little heat output.

Each floodlight is housed in a die cast metal IP65 weatherproof casing with tough industrial powder coating and stainless steel hardware for rust free performance outdoors. A glass fascia protects the long life LED from the elements.
