Fluoro Lighting: A fluorescent lamp or a fluorescent tube is a low pressure mercury vapour gas discharge lamp that uses fluorescence to produce visible light. An electric current in the gas excites mercury vapour which produces short-wave ultraviolet light that then causes a phosphor coating on the inside of the bulb to glow. The luminous efficacy of a fluorescent light bulb can exceed 100 lumens per watt, several times the efficacy of an incandescent bulb with comparable light output.

Halogen Lighting: A halogen lamp, also known as a tungsten halogen, quartz-halogen or quartz iodine lamp, is an incandescent lamp that has a small amount of a halogen such as iodine or bromine added. The combination of the halogen gas and the tungsten filament produces a halogen cycle chemical reaction which redeposit's evaporated tungsten back onto the filament, increasing its life and maintaining the clarity of the envelope.

Xelogen Lighting: Xelogen lamps are an energy efficient, safe alternative to traditional halogen fixtures. These light fixtures produce a beautiful source of long lasting illumination that can last up to 20,000 hours! Halogen lamps can be a hassle to install, especially since you cannot touch them with your bare hands. Doing so, will decrease the amount of hours the bulb is able to produce quality light. However, xelogen bulbs can be handled with your bare hands and have no effect on the lamp’s output.

HID Lighting: High-intensity discharge lamps (HID lamps) are a type of electrical gas-discharge lamp which produces light by means of an electric arc between tungsten electrodes housed inside a translucent or transparent fused quartz or fused alumina arc tube. This tube is filled with both gas and metal salts. The gas facilitates the arc's initial strike. Once the arc is started, it heats and evaporates the metal salts forming plasma, which greatly increases the intensity of light produced by the arc and reduces its power consumption. High-intensity discharge lamps are a type of arc lamp.

Xenon Lighting: A xenon arc lamp is a specialized type of gas discharge lamp, an electric light that produces light by passing electricity through ionised xenon gas at high pressure. It produces a bright white light that closely mimics natural sunlight. Xenon arc lamps are used in movie projectors in theaters, in searchlights, and for specialized uses in industry and research to simulate sunlight. Xenon headlamps in automobiles actually use metal-halide lamps where a xenon arc is only used during start-up.

Stengel - Resolux Compact Fluorescent Lights

Resolux 100, 101, 102 & 103 Series Compact Fluorescent - Surface Mounted Lights

These German Made fluorescent lights are a surface mounted luminare made from high quality PCB. These lights have been designed for use in motor homes, caravans, weekend shacks, or even the home. When installed these highly attractive fixtures will light up whatever room they might be put into. Utilising a universal PCB throughout all models allows you to install a lower wattage tube to reduce power consumption if required.

Using the quality PCB allows these lights to have no radio interference (to the new improved standard VDE0871B), low loss reverse polarity protection, over and under voltage protection. All of these features in the one compact unit. The Resolux 100 series lights are a surface mounted luminaire made of high quality PCB, these lights have been designed for use in motorhome's and caravans to provide a highly efficient light in an attractive fitting. Stengel FR Series Dust & Jet Proof Fluorescent - Surface Mounted lights - IP65 Rated

Need a fluorescent that performs under extreme conditions?

The impact resistant Stengel FR series has been designed to work where conditions are wet or dusty. They are well suited to workshops and engine rooms or areas where there may be excessive soiling.

The clear polycarbonate diffuser swivels at one end for removal if necessary. The FR series has an operating temperature range of between -20C and 60C.

FR 11 & FR 18C Compact fluorescent's:

Housing white polycarbonate with one self-sealing grommet on opening closing end, two boreholes with rubber washers inserted for sealing.

Clear prism polycarbonate diffuser, with a swiveling device on one side so that the diffuser can be unhooked and removed if necessary.

Securely fixed on the other end with a V4A screw.

Connection via three-way terminal. The PCB is fitted on the inside of the white reflector sheet.

The FR 18 Compact is slightly larger than the FR 11 Light, but still much smaller than the non-compact versions.

 

 

FR 18 & FR 36:

Housing grey polycarbonate with polyurethane sealing, two self-sealing grommets, two bore holes for ceiling or wall mounting, rubber seals and washers for sealing fixture are included.

The diffuser is made of injection-molded polycarbonate with inner prism.

Swiveling device on one end so that diffuser can be unhooked and removed if necessary, secured by clamps on the other end.

Inverter ballasts Resolux 980 / 981 are fixed to the white powder-sprayed metal sheet reflector together with a three-way connection terminal.

The reflector can be unhooked and removed if necessary.

Stengel Lumelite Compact Fluorescent

LUMLITE an economical interior luminaire with high light intensity.

The 9 watt compact lamp ( equivalent to 60 watt incandescent lamp) satisfies the needs on caravan, bus and commercial vehicle market with light quantity and colour.

The PC cover can be removed by slight pressure on the edges.

The ABS-chassis has a cable duct to simplify the feeding of the connection cable.

The PC-board is build according to the latest technology.

Stengel Mobilux Adjustable Compact Fluorescent

These German made fittings provide efficient lighting in an elegant luminaire.

Mobilux adjustable compact fluorescent lights have an aluminium profile covered with a PC prismatic diffuser.

The ends are closed off by plastic parts, which are necessary for the wall mounting and allow a rotation of 270 degrees. That is, the light can be changed from direct to indirect illumination.

The PC-board is placed inside the aluminium profile.

The luminaire's are supplied complete with an 11W compact fluorescent tube.

Radio suppression is to standard VDE 0871 B and exceeds CE standards

Mobilux adjustable compact fluorescent lights are available in 2 different colours, Aluminium & White.

The light colour is identical to the light colour of an incandescent lamp therefore will accentuate the required comfortable character.

The PC-board has a soft start as well as a safety circuit.

Mobilum Industrial Handheld Fluorescent Light Fittings

These handheld fluorescent lights are tougher than your average light.

The MOBILUM range of fluoro is water proof and shock proof.

Integrated into this tough little unit is the standard features of the Stengel fluoro fittings including the radio interference suppression, low loss reverse polarity protection, over and under voltage protection.

The Mobilum is also enclosed in a water proof housing that is rated to IP 68. Protection class IP 68 proofs that the luminaire can be used in a rough and wet surrounding.
